SPEED TRIALS AND SLUGGARD CAR.

61st Meeting
Oct. 20th. 11

(Minute of 43rd Meeting. Mr Nadin read to the Committee a copy of a departmental memo from "S" re a speed and hill climbing test proposed by an intending purchaser, which Mr Platford had received.

It was decided that Mr Platford should prepare his proposals for the trial run and read them over to the Committee.)

Mr Platford informed the Committee that this matter had fallen through, as the Car had been taken back.

72nd Meeting
Nov. 8th.1911

R-R test at Brooklands. Mr Nadin read a letter from Mr Johnson with reference to a car of ours not climbing the test hill at Brooklands satisfactorily.

The Committee suggested that Mr Bailey should make enquiries regarding the Daimler car, and report as to the gearing and clutches on same.

The Committee also suggested that Mr Bailey should get out a design for a 20 tooth axle.
