GEARBOX:

Reverse gear tends to jump out directly load
is removed;
Loss of oil from front bearing;
And then there is DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/11.2.33, memo. referred
to above, the reason for which I do not under-
stand.

BRAKES:

Water gets into the brake-drums and upsets
their operation;
Offside front brake has a bad bias and too
much foot pressure is required generally for
operation.

I suggest that you should have a discussion
as soon as possible with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and anyone else concerned, so
that you and I can discuss the matter when we meet next week
and also be prepared regarding what to tell the Board on
Friday week.
