re - Petrol, Benzoline, etc. X986 EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Mr. Hives. Mr. Chatwin. D/WFH9/R12.2.20. In order that we may adhere to one uniform way of dealing with goods received and goods despatched by us, will you please give instructions that whoever receives petrol, benzoline, etc. in your department, should despatch the advice of same to Mr. Chatwin, Stores Superintendent, in order that same may be booked in in the same way in which everything else received by Rolls-Royce is dealt with. Also, with regard to empty cans etc. which have contained petrol and benzoline, At the present time there are accounts in the Accountancy Department giving us credit for over £70.0.0. of empty cans which have been returned and of which the stores have no record owing to the cans being despatched direct from either the Test, Repair, or Experimental Department. If you will have the above carried out, it will considerably help us to keep our accounts in a correct manner. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} W.F.H.
