-2- Am/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}24/N.8.7.38 Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} (5) Clutches. The fitting of the weaker springs to the Long Plate Clutch is still satisfactory for W/P curing fierceness. (6) Noisy Speedometer Drives. I took this matter up with JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} and he made up a satisfactory modification which can be easily adapted to existing cars. 25/30 HP. Complaints. -------------------- (1) Carburetters. The modified carburetters are giving satisfaction with regard to improved acceleration, slow running and over-run explosions. W. are sending the carburetters direct to Zeniths for the modification to be carried out, which is proving to be cheaper than doing it themselves. (2) Brakes. The BZ. brake linings are, up to the present, giving no recurrent troubles. (3) Exhaust Suspension. There is not as yet any modification for the suspension to prevent rattles and squeaks. The rubber suspension is not I understand completed. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} | ||
