Description of Parts. SIDE STEERING TUBE JOINT LUBRICATION.
Origin. To improve lubrication.

Experimental Test Report.
We allow considerable movement in spring controlled joint. The modification is to ensure that the sliding surfaces as well as the ball, is sufficiently lubricated. We have complaints of squeaks with the present scheme.
Shown on LF469.

Road Test Report.
Fitted to 6-G-11 - run 3200 miles.
No trouble.
