Copy From: THE A.T.SPEEDOMETER CO.LTD HOB/W 45/45a Brook Green LONDON W.6 18th June 1924. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY Dear Sirs, Your ref:- ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 17/MG17624 We have your esteemed favour of the 17th inst, but are afraid we are not able to reply as we would like to because the Makers have not informed us what percentage of Cobalt they have put into these magnets, in fact, they seem to evade the subject in every way, but that there is a certain percentage of Cobalt we know. We are trying to get further information, and if we succeed, will not fail to advise you at once. We have made certain tests against our present Magnets, and find same are equally reliable in every way, but we are still making tests and will continue to do so, until we are absolutely assured that there is no possibility of error. We are, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, for A.T.SPEEDOMETER CO.LTD. H.O.Booth (sgd) [STAMP: Red ink] ENCLOSURE Nº 507 JUSTSO [STAMP: Purple ink, upside down] RECEIVED 4 PM 21 JUN 1924 | ||
