[Handwritten]HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}[/Handwritten] Bensport Brake Adjustment. In view of the discussion which arose as to the amount of lift required on the wing-nut to set the clearance at an amount adequate for alum. shoes, we set the adjuster movements out and send the result, N. Sch. 3781 herewith. It will be seen that when the teeth on the wing nuts are .1875 deep, as given on the original production D.O. details, the movement at the end of the levers indicates that there is more than adequate clearance.
