We are now ready to put this car in the shop and the following is the specification of the work we should like carrying out :- (1) Adjustable hydraulics fitted. (2) Propellor shaft damper. (3) Pedals to LeC.4156. (4) Cross steering tube balls EX.11767. (5) Exhaust system to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1585, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}10/MA.31.10.34. (6) Geared starter motor at present on 1-B-IV. (7) 11/43 rear axle. (8) Engine Unit Y4BB. (9) 8 to 1 cylinder head, as at present on the car. (10) Lead bronze big ends. (11) Lighter clutch, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}15/KW.15.9.34. (12) Anti-rattle synchromesh parts to N.Sch.4101. (13) Controllable shock absorbers as now on production. (14) B.Z. brake linings all round. (15) Fully floating servo with latest servo lining to be supplied by Hardy. (16) Cold air intake to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.6/MA.31.10.34. (17) Small bore induction pipe as per the 6 you are making for us.
