AVON TYRES.

With reference to C4/C.21.4.39., the question of using the Avon tyres was further discussed at the Conference reported on in Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}6/ES.27.4.39., and although no mention is made of this in the Minutes, it was agreed that we should go ahead with the Avon tyre as per your note.

We have, therefore, decided to standardise this tyre on B.V.

In order that production quantities may be available when required, we should be glad if Leslie would go ahead forthwith instructing the necessary moulds, as in the present state of re-armament programme, these are now exceedingly difficult to obtain.
