H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} -2- Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/R.9.1.37. Briefly, therefore, our recommendations are - explaining the problem to the customer and suggesting that he keeps two sets of plugs; if this does not appeal to him, fit a petrol pump switch and tell him to run on Cleveland Discol. In our experience there is no pleasure in driving a Bentdey on straight petrol after it has got 5,000 miles of carbon in the cylinder head. To ask a man to decarbonise every 5,000 miles is much worse than to ask him to clean his sparking plugs every 2,000 miles. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
