Alternative method for spring lubrication via an annulus inside the pins for a centralised chassis lubrication system.

V3806 x840 x1148 We send herewith N. sch. 3011. shewing an alternative method of conveying oil for the spring lubrication by means of an annulus inside the pins made by inserting a thin piece of tube. In the case of the rear axle this can be done by increasing the length of the coil and slightly reducing its dia., but if such an arrangement is needed on the front axle it will be necessary we think to open out the hole in the spring eye.
