RE. PETROL BOUGHT AT CHICHESTER.

Would you kindly confirm that in addition to the cost of attention to the spare wheel of the Hawk-Northcliffe chassis at Field's Garage, we should pay for 4 gals. of petrol on your account?

[Handwritten note across text and stamp]: Referred to the spare wheel, Messrs Field's fitted a new tube as they found the old one was cut rather badly in two places.

[Stamp]: RECEIVED 20 DEC 1922

[Handwritten note]: We have got the old tube & it appears to have been pinched when the tyre went flat.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}

[Handwritten note]: Note to E ref.
