TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} c.c. to CJ. BJ. EF. ORIGINAL RECEIVED 29 DEC 1922 GOSHAWK 1. X3481 3535 It will be very interesting to us to see this little chassis as soon as convenient for you to send it here, as among-st other things it has the feature of the engine being suspended on an under frame, and will shew us, as in the case of the Hawk-Northcliffe, the difference between the rigid suspension of the Goshawk, and the more flexible suspension of Goshawk 1. This point is of the utmost urgency to us at the moment; the compression ratio in both Goshawk 1 and Goshawk 11. should be the same. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
