RECEIVED 10 FEB 1931 ...HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wbr. Ck.{Mr Clark} Whr.{Mr Wheeler} X4050. C4/C10.2.31 X4462. TYRES - 40/50 h.p. and 20 h.p CARS. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KT5.2.31 We note that you are sending us a Canadian Dunlop tyre for examination and we will write you again as soon as we have seen it. We are interested to note the result of your test of the latest "India" tyres, which is very interesting and useful to us, but I do not think we need consider changing from Dunlops or making them an alternative standard as, of course, we get special terms by standardising one tyre. If we were asked by customers for "India" tyres we should have no objection to supplying them. C. | ||
