Valve Springs.

We have handed over to the Experimental Dept. one set of 20/25 H.P. valve springs and one set of Phantom II valve springs which have been produced to the essential details as shewn on the present standard drawings but with the original type of closed end, that is to say, with the top coil which forms the seating coiled close to the one immediately below.

We have had these springs produced as a result of the troubles reported by Mr. Hancock that our present type of valve springs are noisy and we should like to have these tested out at the earliest possible moment since if the semi-open ended type of spring gives trouble, we may have to fit the original closed end springs.
