The above car is being sent into the Shop for various complaints on the unit in view of which we should like you to carry out the following:- (1) Dismantle and general examination of - (a) Timing gears to locate knock. (b) Pistons on account of hot knocks. (c) Little end con. rod bushes to be examined. (2) Flexible flywheel to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}569 to be fitted. (OB.4758 is new number). (3) Bentley V induction system complete with air silencer and controls. (4) Refit standard EW.1949 cylinder head which was recently removed from this unit.
