contd :- -2- when passing a verdict on any alteration liable to affect 'shimmy'. While we have not the slightest doubt that it is possible for a car to be fitted with the new well base tyre at 35 lbs/sq.in. and not wobble as in the case of Mr. Royce's car, we know there are cars where the alteration may cause trouble, and in fact have such a car in our possession. In addition, Sales frequently complain that they come across cars which wobble under our present standard conditions, whereas we have only been able to reproduce their wobbling troubles on our exceptional wobbler - our other cars being entirely immune from wobbles when tried under these circumstances.
