To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x508 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}12/KW.5.12.35. 25/30 HP. Induction Pipes. We send you herewith Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}29 scheme, which shows our first attempt at developing a well in the induction pipe to cope with the troubles being encountered on the Stromberg downdraught carburetter, (as mentioned in our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}21/KW.4.12.35). On this drawing Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}29, a new exhaust manifold is shown. This should be ignored, and the complete modification to the induction pipe applied to Ex.19455, altering the exhaust manifold Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2014 to suit.
