LEMOINES SPRINGS.

We have tested on the Bump Test - 2 front springs supplied by Messrs. Lemoines, France.

The O.S. spring broke after 18 hrs. 21 mins. The N.S. after 18 hrs. 53 mins. The average life of a Firths or Woodhead spring is approximately 15 hrs.

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} reports that the alignment of the springs was very good.

The brinnel figures are :-

N.S. 341
O.S. 388

We would recommend, from the results of these tests, that our Paris Depot be allowed to order replacements springs from Lemoines, Paris.
