CAR WORK - CARBURETTERS.

From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL's work we shall probably have twin carburetters for 6 cyl. engines, and for simplicity these may have to be of the fixed type.

I prefer these to be exactly on the lines of P. carburetters in the Vee (Claudel emulsion jets). We should then go on with our knowledge and keep all in line. We believe we have now developed these into something better than any others - Stromberg, Zenith, etc.

One is still a little doubtful if such good results in economy and exact metering under traffic conditions can be obtained, and this remains to be proved. Certainly it may make considerable difference having duplex with impulse suction.

As soon as we know if they behave satisfactorily E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} will get a design moving for Phantom 2.

Japan will have single expanding until Phantom 2. is ready for production.
