EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. Expl. No.

HIGH SPEED WOBBLES - 98-NK CAR.

Very stiff front springs - low geared steering.
Standard 33 X 5 high pressure tyres at 45 lbs/sq.in.
Slight wobble starts at 68 m.p.h. but does not build up.

Ditto - at 35 lbs/sq.in.
Period 68 - 69 - 68 m.p.h. does not build up
and intensity only slight. Slight tendency to wobble
at 75 m.p.h.

33 X 6.7 balloon tyres at 20 lbs/sq.in.
Period 52 - 70 - 48 m.p.h. Intensity violent and worst
at about 60 m.p.h.

Ditto - with standard shock absorbers at 50 lbs.
Very slight tendency to wobble at 70 m.p.h. but hardly
distinguishable from road shocks.

Road shocks with these springs in spite of low
geared steering, are not nearly so bad as anticipated,
