AUTOMOBILES ROLLS ROYCE (FRANCE) LIMITED PARIS. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Wa{Mr Wallis}3/Go6.7.21. RE STEERING NUTS. We think it would be advisable to look into the question of the strength of the housings which hold the chasses. We have had lately, cases of cars having received a shock to the steering, where the effect has been to open out these housings. Apparently this is the weakest place since the pendulum levers have been strengthened. We shall be glad of your views. Wa.{Mr Wallis} See sketch attc. to X.205. | ||
