Rolls-Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, Your Ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/W11/E231017. We thank you for your favour of the 23rd October, and in reply now beg to quote you as follows:- 4 Ogilvie Air Speed Indicators, calibrated 40-160 M.P.H. non-luminous, including Pitot Tubes, and 30 feet of copper tubing, and rubber connections.................... £7. 9. -. each. This is in accordance with the permission granted, to supply these, received from the Air Board, on the 17th October. We cannot say that these are similar to those used on De Havilland Four, because we do not know which Indicator is forwarded by the Air Board for the De Havilland Four. This, however, is the Indicator of which the largest number are supplied to the Air Board by us, the remainder differing, either by having luminous dials, at an extra cost of £1. 8. 0., or by some which are calibrated in knots instead of miles. Yours faithfully, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE BRITISH WRIGHT COMPANY LTD.
