B-2-GA - London Trials Coupe.

This is the car to which I referred at the Meeting at W. last Wednesday on which the clutch had become very unsatisfactory. It was doped for making O.K. temporarily for demonstration, but has again become unsatisfactory.

I am therefore taking the car off the road tomorrow, and sending it to you in the afternoon.

It is exceedingly inconvenient to be without this car on the opening day of the Exhibition, but we would rather do that than give runs on a car that is not satisfactory.

The clutch, I am told, is particularly unpleasant when hot. When I tried it last night under ordinary conditions it was still at times very unpleasant.

Will you please do what you can to let us have this car back at the earliest possible moment. We hope you will only need to keep it 24 hours, and that you will merely change the clutch and carry out your investigations as to the cause of the trouble afterwards.
