Dear Sirs,

Replying to your letter of the 19th inst., as Mr. Martindale is at present away on holiday, we shall be glad if you will postpone your visit until towards the end of next week.

Mr. Martindale returns to the Works early next week, and will then communicate with you, suggesting a suitable date for your visit.
