1375 11th April, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CB.2/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Messrs. Kelsey Hayes Ltd., Dagenham Dock, Essex. For the Attention of A.{Mr Adams} Inglis Esq. Chief Engineer. Dear Sirs, We require a set of five wheels. Our first choice for these is shown on drawing RG.{Mr Rowledge}2347 which is enclosed. Our second choice is shown on RG.{Mr Rowledge}2348, also enclosed. Our essential requirements are the securing bolt details shown on the drawings and the offset of 1.65" between the rim and the bolting face. Will you please let us know what you can offer together with the approximate cost and delivery date. These wheels are for a car weighing about 22 cwt. in kerb condition. We take this opportunity of thanking you for the five wheels which you supplied recently. We are interested to know whether you have been able to give any consideration to the scheme for fitting aluminium rims to the 16" wheels as discussed during your visit here last November. Yours faithfully, | ||
