Modifications to 'Goshawk 11' front springs.

Woodheads letter that they have finished the front springs for the above to our original drawing, which did not incorporate the semi circular edge recently called for by Mr Royce. Will you kindly instruct Messrs. Woodheads to send on the springs in the present condition, and the Experimental Department should note that it will be necessary to radius the springs for a short distance each side of the centre on the top plate only to fit the new type of clip which Mr Royce has recently specified. In the meantime I am taking up the whole issue with Mr Royce and recommending that we only radius the short length of the spring which actually demands the radius where the central clip fits.
