C O P Y. Mr Wormald from F.H.R. Copies sent to: Mr Johnson. Re Front Spring Shackles. I have no objection to this washer being inserted. I have not specified any clearance in this particular direction and I have before heard of slight knocks arising from such end-play. I should think, therefore, that it would be wise for us, in future, to have them fitted up with a clearance of about 5 thous. I think, however, that we ought to stick to the rule that the bore of the bushes in the springs are well cleared of the pins. F.H.R. X433 COPY. | ||
