THROTTLE GOVERNOR. +8740 We are very anxious to get your scheme for using the ball bearings on the governor control. We have been trying several of the production cars and there is appreciable friction which we are sure will be complained of. 46-PK car (which I left at W.W.) has, according to specification, the modified travel for the accelerator pedal. The standard EAC. cars have 3½", 46-PK car has 2½", the old type 40/50 cars had 1.75". 46-PK car has the shorter lever on the frame side of the step aside countershaft. We recommend that you just check up the pedal movement on 46-PK as I think it will be agreed that we do not want to have any more pedal movement than is on that car.
