Handwritten: F.Dodd. Write G.W.H. re Dodd's car please. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

With reference to your memo Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/R.29.3.38, I got in touch with Messrs.Park Ward & Co. re Mr Robert's Bentley. Mr Roberts being away.

The sticking of the throttle has been dealt with by fitting the latest spring and bracket recently issued for this complaint RY/CS9/EH.29.11.37. At the same time they requested that the brakes etc. should be adjusted, so a general look round the car has been made.

With reference to your remarks re the 25/30 HP. misfires at low speeds, I'm sorry but as so many things were done to Professor Dodd's car, I am not clear as to what you finally did and should be much obliged if you could enlighten me.

I have made arrangements to get the car, subject to it being free.
