The pressings for the jackets on the American Cylinders seem to be very much more accurate than those we are using. On a number of cylinders I have looked at, one could not see signs of hammer marks. I suggest that we might cable to America and ask them how many hours it takes to fit one of their jackets; if the time is appreciably less, then I think it might be worth while to obtain pressings for jackets from America, especially in view of the fact of the difficulties with sheet metal workers on this side.
