Dear Sirs, We acknowledge, with thanks, receipt of your letter of the 5th instant, and in accordance with the arrangements made with our representative during the interview which you were good enough to grant him yesterday, we have pleasure in informing you that we are making the necessary arrangements to supply one of our clockwise rotation type AG6 automatic magnetos, which is to have a hand timing range of 20° (handwritten annotation: 13°), with an automatic range of 35° (handwritten annotation: 23°), making a total of 55° on the magneto (handwritten annotation above: 36°, handwritten annotation below: 56° on engine), the automatic advance to commence operating at 500 R.P.M. (handwritten annotation: 750 on mag), and the maximum amount of automatic advance to be reached at 3000 R.P.M. (handwritten annotation: 4500 on mag), which are your requirements for your 76 x 114 mm. engine as indicated in your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T of the 24th November. In the event of your wishing to try a similar type of magneto, but suitable for the slower speed engine, please let us know. X. 4290. In addition to the above, we will in due course forward you one of our 110 W dynamos, clockwise rotation.
