STEERING COMPLAINTS, CONT'D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} If the tube were easily adjustable we are afraid that many chauffeurs might make matters worse than they are. REAR AXLE THRUST. We have so far had no trouble with the latest design of thrust bearings. The 18 20/25 HP. cars dealt with by Cricklewood during the last six months are earlier cars with the old type of bearings. TELEGAUGE FAILURES. The Hobson Gauge is admittedly very unreliable and there will always be a number of complaints. The electrical gauge now standardised on the 20/25 HP. only should not be subject to these troubles. POPPING IN SILENCER. We have no cure for this trouble at present. The Experimental Dept. inform us that the new exhaust system now standardised will not be so subject to this trouble. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} | ||
