| Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Ltd., Date 28.5.31. Page 2 P.S. It will be noticed that there is a clearance shown on the sketch between the vent pipe and the top of the tank at this point. The pipe can be set down by a double set directly after leaving the union, to lie snugly upon the top of the tank, or the boss carrying the union can be inclined downwards, thus necessitating only one set in the pipe.
