Proposed modifications for a batch of 100 sets of P.2 Series material for the 40/50 HP chassis.

With reference to the further batch of 100 sets of material, which we have been given permission to order to comprise P.2 Series, as agreed we are proposing to introduce the following modifications :- (1). J.lll. type front and rear shock dampers. (2). Silent second speed gear. (3). New Silencer for carburetter as per LeC.3354. (4). New type of matrix. (5). New engine coupling as per RR.Sch.255, but without arrangements for the clutch brake mechanism. (6). Modified exhaust valves. We are, however, releasing the material for Items 1 and 6, but are not ordering any material for the parts affected by the other items. Immediately you are in a position to release the above modifications no doubt you will issue standardisation sheets in the usual way. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
