No 341. To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Engine Booms 40/50 & 25 HP. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E17.12.30 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/MJ.16.12.30 I am very much interested to note that experiments show that the new engine mounting for the 40/50 gets rid of some 60% of the 60 mile per hour boom. Would you please let me know if this is the engine mounting referred to in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/MJ.4.12.30 for which you have a temporary scheme for test but no properly designed scheme. If so, it will help me to bring pressure behind the urgency of the Design Dept. completing this job. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} [STAMP] RECEIVED HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 17 DEC 1930 | ||
