Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} conrod and piston with the engine in position, since the engine has been designed for the extraction of the piston and conrod to be extracted as a unit and only from below. Investigation is going on here, and we may be forced to accept a bent front pan. This we shall avoid if at all possible because it results in difficult manufacture, increased cost and weight, but our chances do not look too good. At the moment we are of the opinion that whilst for the initial assembly the power unit can be introduced from below, for servicing, it should also be capable of being extracted from above, so as to avoid the removal of the bath tub and front suspension. Certain makers of monocoque cars achieve this. We believe that cheap servicing is a part of economical motoring which latter feature is the purpose of the Myth project. The radiator matrix will most probably be supported on the power unit. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
