-2- Contd. application. This stock gives a noiseless gear of great durability, one that is not affected by acids, oils or water and will not warp, swell or change its shape under any condition of service. It is not affected by heat or changes in temperature and is absolutely vermin-proof. Continental-Bakelite is the only non-metallic gear material that does not need a shroud and it has a higher tooth strength than any other non-metallic gear material. Both Bakelite-Dilecto and Continental-Bakelite are used by the U.S. Gvt. in their wireless and signal apparatus and in fact are extensively used throughout the U S where the highest grade insulating material is required. We enclose price list dated April 10, 1919, on Bakelite-Dilecto; price list dated Oct 15, 1918, on Continental-Bakelite sheets and list dated Jan 10, 1919, on Continental-Bakelite gear stock for your reference. Should you require any special samples for testing purposes, we shall be pleased to supply them. Hoping we may be of service, we are Yours very truly, THE CONTINENTAL FIBRE CO. (Sgd) J.D.Truxton PS We are enclosing copy of tests on our Bakelite materials made by the Bureau of Standards, U S Govt. April 30, 1918. | ||
