Dear Robotham,
I have a nephew who wanted to come to this factory. As we do not run a proper apprenticeship scheme I advised him that it would be better from his point of view if he went to someone like yourselves to start with before he came here.
Can you either give me particulars of your apprenticeship scheme - if any - or tell me whether it could be arranged for him to come to your Works for a while. He is quite a likely lad who I think will be very useful later on.
Yours sincerely,
S.B.Wilks.
