B.137-KU, Mr. Geoffrey Smith.

The following is an extract from a letter recently received from Mr. Geoffrey Smith :-

"Incidentally, Mr. Hives mentioned when I saw him at Hatfield the other day the question of a visit to Derby in the near future and I suggested that I might go when my chassis was put in hand so that I could offer any comments in view of my extensive experience with Rolls and Bentley chassis. I am ready to arrange a date when it best suits your works, if you will kindly mention this to Mr. Cowen."

C. thinks the suggestion Mr. Geoffrey Smith's visit to the works should take place when his own chassis is in hand a good one.

We assume you will arrange to advise Mr. Geoffrey Smith direct when this will be so that a date for his visit can be fixed.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
The above chassis will be put on Test W/E August 7th, and is due to leave the Works W/E August 21st.
