Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X6092 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/AD27.9.32. VOLTAGE REGULATED DYNAMO ON SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'S CAR We wish to fit up Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car with the latest voltage controlled dynamo scheme consisting of an R.R. 40/50 dynamo working in conjunction with a C.A.V. regulator as was successfully run on 19-EX in France. A standardisation sheet for this scheme has recently been issued. We have already asked for a shunt dynamo to be instructed (see our note Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/AD2.9.32) and we should be glad if you will also arrange for a scheme to be instructed for the mounting of the regulator and resistance unit on the dashboard similar to the arrangement on 19-EX. As we are anxious to get Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car modified when it comes into the Exptl. shop next week, we should be glad if you will urge the necessary details through as soon as possible.
