Magnetos type SP.{Mr Spinney}12-5 Nos.98087/8/9/90.

The difference between these magnetos and the SP.{Mr Spinney}12-2 type, and their suitability for similar purposes to those of the SP.{Mr Spinney}12-2 were pointed out. It was pointed out by Mr. Allen that the only magnesium alloy casting on this machine was, if we remember rightly, the armature cover.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
