EFC. C. Hdr (handwritten, struck through) X2894 (handwritten) BY14/G.11.11.27. BATTERY IGNITION. ----------------- X8692 (handwritten, underlined) Referring to R1/M.8.11.27. we would like to know if you propose instructing this for 'M' series on the 20 HP. chassis, material for which has just been ordered, and for F.2 series on the 40/50 HP. chassis, material also for which has just been ordered, if so we take it you will immediately issue the standardisation sheet. One other point we would like to know, whether terminal support D.71437 or D.71440 was used in the successful running. The difference in the two pieces is in the thickness of the material, the former being .082" thick, the latter .064". The design shown on LeC.2460 permits of replacement of the existing arm for the fixed contact on existing cars. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
