BENTLEY STEERING PIVOT.
Referring to the change over to the type of Pivot shown on N Sch. 4303, as this is to be done on all cars existing, it is necessary to provide a scheme to deal with the axles having a .700/dia. pin.
This has already been done in BY's Dept. We now wish to fix the dia. of the bore of the inner roller bearing race on this scheme at .680, the existing detail being modified to suit, and this roller race will then also do for the .750 dia. pin shown on N Sch. 4303.
