Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited.

I understand that you may probably want some of the parts modified or made of a different material but, if this is not so and we can make the carburetters similar to the samples already received, I do not think there will be any difficulty.

In answer to your second question, I do not believe we shall have any trouble in getting a quantity of complete carburetters from America within eight weeks from date of order, and this might be the best thing to do so as to give us a few weeks more to get into production in this country.

On the question of price, it is again difficult to give a definite figure until we have your final specification, but I am preparing an estimate based on a carburetter similar to those you are now testing but with an automatic strangler flap and no thermostat and I will send you these prices tomorrow, as I have been promised a final quotation from the Diecasters tomorrow morning.

I trust this slight delay will not cause you any inconvenience and can assure you that we are most anxious to be favoured with your business, and I will do everything possible to merit your confidence.

Meanwhile,

I remain,
Yours sincerely,
THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. LTD.
