-8- ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. Lucas foot switch for dippers. - This stuck down. It was handed to the Elec. Lab. for investigation and a replacement switch was fitted. B.50 Headlamps. - These have been fitted temporarily for review. BODYWORK. Front wings. - The side strips under the front wings fouled the front brake rods. They can easily be filed away to clear. The wings sweep us too sharply and have been scruffed by the bottom edges of the bonnet. Draught from doors. - There is a space through which light can be seen at the bottom front corner of the O.S.F. door. This was also a fault on both bodies fitted to G.B.IV. The wind blows in badly here. Bonnet. - Owing to the flexibility of the top panels and hinge, the front corners can foul the headlamps when closing. The trouble could be improved by - (1) A central handle in stead of two separate ones. (2) A rubber corner piece. (3) A stiffer bonnet. | ||
