Leyland Continuation of a letter From LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED, -3- 6. Stabilisers. Mr. Spurrier advised you of our intention to standardise on a hydraulic stabiliser on our double-deck and single-deck passenger models. We are making arrangements to procure a set of stabilising gear suitable for fitment on a Bentley chassis, and which would be of a similar type as fitted to the Ford V8. As soon as these come to hand we will make arrangements to pass them over to you, together with any necessary instructions in regard to fitment. We would appreciate your advising us whether we would be in order in debiting you with the cost of this equipment, or whether you would be prepared to accept these on contra, against the set of servo parts previously referred to under item 5. We would again extend an invitation for any of your technical representatives to visit us at these Works for the purpose of inspection of our manufacturing methods, at any time you would like to avail yourselves of this opportunity. Yours faithfully,, p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED. [Signature: WPilkington] Manager, Engineering Dept. | ||
