V.W. Pilkington Esq.,
The Leyland Motor Co.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

Dear Mr. Pilkington,

Many thanks for your letter of the 1st October and the drawings of the centres of your gearbox, etc.

I am sending to you drawing G.83295 of the servo we are using on our present Phantom III chassis. The other drawing, G.72550, is the largest servo we have ever made, but has none of the up to date features for increasing efficiency that exist on the Phantom III servo.

Arrangements have been made to send you both servo and rear silencer on "sale or return". Owing to the difficulty of getting these parts from the Works it will not be possible to send them before the end of this week.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
