Dear Sirs, In thanking you for your letter of the 27th ult, we would confirm that two 5.50x16 Wire wheels with an outset of 1.062" are in hand and that two special Fort tyres with modified casing construction are in process. With regard to the special Michelin rims which you are obtaining from France, we should be glad to know whether you could yet let us have the exact dimensions of these rims under the well so that we might ascertain whether we are in a position to produce from existing plant disc wheel centres. If production of such centres involves special tooling, would you be prepared to accept these rims built up into wire wheels similar to those on which tests have already been carried out?
