Front Wheel Ball Bearing failures. | W. 1. | Last qtr's total 18. | This trouble is considered by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to be due to faulty lubrication, and special instructions have been issued to Depots as to the correct method of packing the Axle with Ball Bearing grease.

Springing Complaints. | W. 12. | Last qtr's total 16. | No definite cure. Cannot hope to make a specification to suit everybody. Something we can never hope to cure absolutely on present design. The specification has been changed which we anticipate will help these complaints Of this quarter's total, 6 are in connection with recurrent breaking of the Springs.
